What is Curricul@?

Within SIRA, trobamCurricul@, a service designed so that each researcher can autonomously manage their research curriculum vitae. This tool allows for effective updating and administration of scientific merits and contributions, facilitating the visibility and accessibility of research production within the academic community and beyond. It allows the following functionalities:

  • Access resume management from any computer connected to the Internet.
  • Take advantage of the information entered by other users of the service who collaborate in research activities.
  • Export or print the resume in multiple models valid for several calls and different formats (HTML, PDF, RTF, etc.), among which it supports the Normalized Curriculum vitae (CVN) or the Abbreviated Curriculum vitae (CVA), that use more and more calls.
  • Generate research evaluation reports (such as, for example, for calls for remuneration supplements).
  • Include, if the researcher wants, research information in their personal file on the UIB institutional website, such as a brief summary of their curriculum or their specialties (UNESCO codes), which are also used to search for experts.
  • Consult the impact and position indexes of the journals according to the JCR.
  • Provide the UIB with a single repository of all research activities carried out within the institution.

Who can access Curricul@?

  • Teaching and research staff (PDI) and research staff of the UIB and its University Research Institutes.
  • PhD students of the UIB (it is mandatory that they fill in the CV at Curricul@).
  • Collaborating researchers of the UIB (ICUIB).

GENERAL CONDITIONS AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

The personal data that you provide us through the forms to configure your resume to SIRA will be incorporated into the "Research Management" file, owned by the University of the Balearic Islands, in order to provide you with the "Curricul@" service. of SIRA. These data may also be used by the University of the Balearic Islands and other participating or own institutions of the University (Institutes and Research Centers, Affiliated Centers) for the preparation of analyses, studies and evaluations, both in aggregate form. as an individual, with the objective of improving the functioning and decision-making by the University of the Balearic Islands in the areas of activity that are its own in accordance with its statutes. The body responsible for the file is the General Secretariat.

In any case, you can exercise the rights of access, rectification and cancellation by means of a written communication, attaching a photocopy of the DNI or other identification document, addressed to the University of the Balearic Islands, General Secretariat, for the attention of the data protection delegate. , Ave. de Valldemossa, km 7.5, 07122 Palma (Balearic Islands) or to the email address dpo@uib.es.
