How to get UIBdigital credencials

Access to SIRA application of the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) is exclusive for the following groups:

  • Research staff hired from the UIB and its research institutes.
  • Research staff in training and doctoral students at the UIB, who must have their resume updated to the Curricul@ platform.
  • Collaborating researchers of the UIB (ICUIB).

To be able to use SIRA, it is essential to have UIBdigital credentials. If you are already part of one of these groups, you probably already have your credentials.

If you do not have UIB credentials

However, if you don't have them yet, you can easily request them by filling out the following form.

To request UIBdigital credentials, below we explain some considerations to take into account during the registration process.

The steps you have to follow to register are:

  • You enter an email address for personal use.
  • You fill out the personal data forms (identification data and contact data).
  • When finished, you will be provided with a registration code that you must keep to complete the process.
  • Next (in approximately 2 minutes) you will receive an email to the address indicated with a link to a UIBdigital page.
  • When you receive the email, follow the link and, once on the UIBdigital page, enter the registration code obtained in the previous point and the access code you want to use, read and accept the conditions of use.
  • You have to complete this process within 3 hours of sending the email. If you do not do so, the process will expire and you will have to start another one. Once finished, you will be given your username, and you will now be able to access UIBdigital.
